Influenced greatly by Mitsuteru Yokoyama's "Gigantor" during his childhood, Yuichi Hasegawa has poured his love and homage to "Gigantor" into his latest work, "Gigantor: The Emperor's Emblem," which is based on the meticulous settings and backgrounds unique to the manga version and is finally here!! In the early 1950s, a young detective named Alice Dragnet appeared before Shōtarō Kaneda, who piloted the Japanese robot weapon "Gigantor." At the same time, mysterious, monstrous robots began appearing all over Japan. It was said that the "Nazi treasure," which Hitler had brought to Japan just before the end of the war, and the seven "emperor's emblems," which had been sent to robot researchers in various countries over the course of 10 years, would be seized through battles between robots. If all seven were collected, the location of the treasure would be revealed. Shōtarō, however, joins the conflict not to seize the treasure, but to prevent the damage caused by the robot battles.
