Before entering university, Ayame Noishiki moves to Onomichi, where her late grandmother used to live. By chance, she visits a restaurant located behind a certain shrine. The owner of the restaurant, Kamui, has the power of a god and can recreate dishes related to the memories of people and ayakashi that she searches for. He sees the true nature of Ayame's "unhappy disposition" and offers her a certain dish. It is a dish from a memory of her grandmother that Ayame herself had forgotten.
