The capital, Tokyo, was renamed Shinto, and through the implementation of highly advanced systems and the complete reliance on Shinkiryoku for all aspects of daily life—including food, clothing, and shelter—it comes to be operated with unprecedented efficiency. However, those who despise Shinkiryoku or refuse to accept it are mercilessly excluded from society and face annihilation. A man appeared in Shinto. His name is Yui Shousetsu.
