One day, the writer Yuto Miura rescued a lost raccoon dog. The next morning, he finds a little fellow with a fluffy tail in his Japanese-style room! The little fellow declares to the astonished Yuto that he is a monster raccoon. He seems to be struggling to do something good for a wish, but everything he does is full of failures. Yuto laughs, names the little raccoon "Ponta," and feeds him a meal. Then the neighbor Taiwanese squirrel siblings join him, and Yuto's quiet life takes a turn for the worse!
