Akurei—better known as Akira—was born as the only being possessing the holy power of the Saintess. Fearing that, just like in past wars, a Saintess might once again become the spark of conflict, Akira’s parents raised her to live as a boy. Now at eighteen, Akira sets off to study abroad in a neighboring country.
