Bored by his life as a ninja, Asagiri Jūbee runs away from his village in the hope of becoming a great pianist. To this end, he approaches high-school girl and piano prodigy Ibuki Aya, begging her to take him as a disciple. But she has a better idea: letting her childhood friend Otonashi Kanade teach the man instead.
