One day, an ordinary high school student, Wakana Tenryu, is suddenly confronted by a beautiful man dressed in a kimono. The man, who calls himself Murakumo, is said to be a yokai, or rain man, who has been protecting the heir to the Tenryu family for generations. That day, Wakana's ordinary life changed completely. Wakana cries, laughs, and falls in love with a variety of yokai.
