On 19 March 2011 at Miyagi Prefecture, about a week after the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami, Nishino Makio, a postman, was back doing his job delivering letters to the town folks despite the fact that he just received his wife’s body the day before. He visited his damaged room and recalled his past with his beloved wife.
