(from mangapedia): When Gareki Sho arrives at a new school, he hands out garage kits of bishojo characters as a greeting to his classmates. However, his classmate Rei Shuga throws away the garage kits, calling them "disgusting," and Sho clashes with her. Sho goes to the club room to join the art club, and after a Q&A session with Mizuki, they end up having a sculpture vs. garage kit competition. The one who came forward as a model for the "same motif," which was a condition of the competition, was Rei, who did not think well of Sho.
