Raito Katsuragi was an ordinary high school student until a sudden accident brought his life to an end. Recognized for his good deeds by a mysterious goddess, he's given another chance at life by being reincarnated into the body of Kurt, a young apprentice adventurer in another world. There's just one problem: Kurt wakes up in the middle of a battlefield with no legendary weapon, cheat ability, or convenient skill to save him. His only equipment is a cooking pot and its lid. Thrown into a brutally realistic medieval world of religious conflict, warfare, violence, and plunder, Kurt must learn how to survive the hard way. With guidance from veteran adventurers and help from the young mage Iris, he begins earning money, hunting goblins, gathering proper armor, and building a new life for himself, all while continuing to wield his trusty pot as a weapon. But there's something strange about that pot. Whenever Kurt defeats an enemy, it begins to glow... With no overpowered abilities to rely on, Kurt must use modern knowledge, practical experience, and one surprisingly effective piece of cookware to uncover the mysteries surrounding his new body, his unusual weapon, and the world he's been reborn into.
